Lenore Lake. 25661. Lenore Lake is a partly saline lake in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. It is part of the Lenore Lake Basin, which includes several saline lakes (Basin, Middle, Frog, Ranch, Murphy, Flat, Mantrap, Houghton, Deadmoose and Waldsea) as well as the freshwater St. Brieux Lake and Burton Lake. The basin has no natural outlet.

The Gimli Ice Fishing Derby will be held on South Beach, March 2, 2024. This is the second year for the Derby - our first year was a resounding success with over 1000 participants coming to the event. We are anticipating 1500 at this year's event. The event is organized by two charities, Marymound and Fish Futures.

For the first time in the Lake Lenore Lions Ice Fishing Derby's 10 year history, there was a tie for first place. Glen Leniuk of Bruno and Dayton Klashinsky of Humboldt each caught a 6.02-pound jackfish. The tournament organizers decided to add the $10,000 first place payout and the $4,118.28 second place payout and divide it into two equal.
